Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup diced watermelon (fresh or frozen) Ensure to slightly soften frozen watermelon before use.
  • 1 ounce lime juice Freshly squeezed lime juice is preferred.
  • 10 leaves mint leaves Clap the leaves in your hands to release aroma.
  • 1/2 cup soda water or kombucha Use unsweetened sparkling water for a healthier option.
  • splash apple cider vinegar (optional) Adds a tangy flavor.

Method
 

Option 1 - Shaker
  1. Muddle the diced watermelon and lime juice in a shaker or mason jar, pressing down until the juice is released.
  2. Clap the mint leaves together in your hands and add to the watermelon mixture.
  3. Add ice cubes, secure the lid, and shake well to combine.
  4. Strain the mixture into an ice-filled glass.
  5. Top with soda water or kombucha.
  6. Add a splash of apple cider vinegar if desired, and stir gently.
  7. Garnish with a lime wheel and extra mint.
Option 2 - Blender
  1. Place diced watermelon, lime juice, and mint leaves in a blender.
  2. Blend at high speed until smooth.
  3. Strain the mixture into an ice-filled glass.
  4. Top off with soda water or kombucha.
  5. Add a splash of apple cider vinegar if desired, and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with a lime wheel and fresh mint leaves.

Notes

Serve immediately over ice for the best taste. Store leftovers for up to 24 hours in a sealed container. Freezing is not recommended due to texture changes.
