Option 1 - Shaker
- Muddle the diced watermelon and lime juice in a shaker or mason jar, pressing down until the juice is released.
- Clap the mint leaves together in your hands and add to the watermelon mixture.
- Add ice cubes, secure the lid, and shake well to combine.
- Strain the mixture into an ice-filled glass.
- Top with soda water or kombucha.
- Add a splash of apple cider vinegar if desired, and stir gently.
- Garnish with a lime wheel and extra mint.
Option 2 - Blender
- Place diced watermelon, lime juice, and mint leaves in a blender.
- Blend at high speed until smooth.
- Strain the mixture into an ice-filled glass.
- Top off with soda water or kombucha.
- Add a splash of apple cider vinegar if desired, and stir gently.
- Garnish with a lime wheel and fresh mint leaves.
Notes
Serve immediately over ice for the best taste. Store leftovers for up to 24 hours in a sealed container. Freezing is not recommended due to texture changes.
