  • 4 cups Chex cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup M&M’s
  • 1/2 cup heart-shaped sprinkles

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, measure out the Chex cereal and set it aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir until evenly coated.
  5. In a large zip-top bag, combine powdered sugar and the coated cereal, seal, and shake until coated.
  6. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and let it cool.
  7. Once cooled, mix in M&M’s and sprinkles before serving or packing into gift bags.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for about a week at room temperature or freeze for longer storage. For customization, you can change the cereal types or add nuts.
