Preparation
- In a large bowl, measure out the Chex cereal and set it aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir until evenly coated.
- In a large zip-top bag, combine powdered sugar and the coated cereal, seal, and shake until coated.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and let it cool.
- Once cooled, mix in M&M’s and sprinkles before serving or packing into gift bags.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for about a week at room temperature or freeze for longer storage. For customization, you can change the cereal types or add nuts.
