Ingredients
Method
Preparation
- Start by patting the chicken breasts dry thoroughly.
- Season both sides of the chicken with kosher salt and black pepper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it in to ensure even coating.
Cooking Chicken
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook the chicken for about 12-15 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C) for safety.
Assembling the Wrap
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, sliced chicken, shaved parmesan cheese, and rustic croutons.
- Pour in the creamy white Caesar dressing and gently toss everything together until well coated.
- Lay one large tortilla flat on a cutting board. Scoop a generous amount of the chicken Caesar mixture into the center of the tortilla.
- Fold the sides in and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top. Repeat this process for the remaining tortillas.
Serving
- Slice each wrap in half for easier handling and serve immediately.
Notes
These wraps can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the dressing separate until you are ready to eat to maintain the crunch of the ingredients. Feel free to add grilled vegetables or substitute chicken for chickpeas for a vegetarian option.
