  • 0.5 cup creamy white Caesar dressing (120ml) Brings all elements together.
  • 4 large soft white flour tortillas (10-inch/25cm) Wrap base; can use gluten-free.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by patting the chicken breasts dry thoroughly.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken with kosher salt and black pepper.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it in to ensure even coating.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook the chicken for about 12-15 minutes, turning halfway through.
  3. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C) for safety.
Assembling the Wrap
  1. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, sliced chicken, shaved parmesan cheese, and rustic croutons.
  4. Pour in the creamy white Caesar dressing and gently toss everything together until well coated.
  5. Lay one large tortilla flat on a cutting board. Scoop a generous amount of the chicken Caesar mixture into the center of the tortilla.
  6. Fold the sides in and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top. Repeat this process for the remaining tortillas.
Serving
  1. Slice each wrap in half for easier handling and serve immediately.

Notes

These wraps can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the dressing separate until you are ready to eat to maintain the crunch of the ingredients. Feel free to add grilled vegetables or substitute chicken for chickpeas for a vegetarian option.
