Preparation
- Chop the dried fruits and nuts into small pieces for even distribution in the bread.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) or your air fryer to a similar temperature.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, honey (or brown sugar), milk, vanilla extract, and orange zest.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chopped fruits and nuts gently.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- If using an air fryer, check for doneness after 35-40 minutes.
- Allow the bread to cool completely in the pan before slicing.

For storage, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze in individual slices for up to 2-3 months.
