Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables (if using), and season with salt and pepper.
- In a baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly.
- Top with a layer of tater tots and then sprinkle the cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To freeze, cover tightly and freeze unbaked for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before baking.
