  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken soup if preferred.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice of cheese.
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots Tater tots should be frozen for crispiness.
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables Optional; you can substitute with fresh vegetables.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables (if using), and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, spread the beef mixture evenly.
  5. Top with a layer of tater tots and then sprinkle the cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. To freeze, cover tightly and freeze unbaked for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge overnight before baking.
