Ingredients
  

For the Truffles
  • 200 g dark chocolate Chopped
  • 100 ml heavy cream Heat until simmering
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest Freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For Coating
  • Cocoa powder or crushed nuts For finishing coat

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop the dark chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it begins to simmer, then pour it over the chopped chocolate.
  3. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Add the orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
Forming the Truffles
  1. Scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into balls.
  2. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder or crushed nuts to coat.
  3. Store in an airtight container and enjoy during the holidays!

Notes

These truffles are perfect for holiday parties and can be stored for up to two weeks. Freeze for longer storage of up to three months.
