Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and follow package instructions.
- Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar cheese.
- Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, pressing it down to form a cup.
- Fill each wonton cup with the beef and cheese mixture.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with optional toppings.
Notes
To store cooked Taco Cups, let them cool to room temperature first. Put them in an airtight container with a paper towel to absorb extra moisture. They can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven to keep them crisp.
