Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • Salt to taste salt
  • Pepper to taste pepper
  • chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • sesame seeds (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
  2. Add the steak pieces to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Remove steak from marinade and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the steak bites to the pan in a single layer, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked to your liking.
  4. Drizzle some of the leftover marinade over the cooked steak bites and cook for another minute.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For serving, pair the steak bites with toothpicks for easy eating. They also go well with steamed rice or a fresh salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days or frozen for up to three months.
