Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
- Slice the Parmesan into thin pieces, roughly matching the size of the crackers.
- Cut each strip of bacon into quarters.
Assembly
- Lay one slice of Parmesan on each cracker and top with a piece of bacon.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of brown sugar and a dash of red pepper flakes. Repeat until all crackers are assembled.
Baking
- Arrange the topped crackers in a single layer on the wire rack and bake for 35–45 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through.
- Start checking at 30 minutes; they are ready when the bacon is crisp and the cracker edges are golden brown.
Serving
- Let cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
These crackers are best enjoyed fresh but can be made ahead or stored for a few days. Pair with fresh vegetables or dips for a balanced snack.
