Ingredients
  

For the lemonade
  • 8-10 pieces strawberries, halved Use fresh strawberries for best flavor.
  • 80 milliliters freshly squeezed lemon juice Adjust to taste.
  • 30 milliliters honey (or a sugar substitute for a lower-calorie option) Use stevia or erythritol for a lighter version.
  • 300 milliliters water Divide into two portions for mixing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Blend strawberries, lemon juice, honey, and half of the water together in a high-speed blender until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp and seeds.
  3. Divide the smooth mixture between 2 small glasses.
  4. Top each glass with the remaining water and stir gently to combine.
  5. Serve immediately over ice for a refreshing drink.

Notes

You can garnish with a mint leaf or add more fruit slices for extra flavor. The leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge.
