Preparation
- Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. In a bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over the chicken.
Cooking the Chicken
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned chicken on a baking sheet and bake for about 30–35 minutes. Brush with BBQ sauce and honey during the last 10 minutes.
Preparing the Fries
- While the chicken is baking, cut the potatoes into fries. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, paprika, and a pinch of salt. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for about 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
Making the Slaw
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrot. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar (or lemon juice), and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss well.
Serving
- Serve the sticky BBQ chicken with crispy fries and fresh slaw.
Notes
For meal prep, cook extra chicken and fries, storing in airtight containers for up to three days. For a gluten-free option, check the labels on the BBQ sauce.
