For the Chicken

For the Fries
  • 2 large potatoes, cut into fries Good source of fiber and potassium.

For the Slaw
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage Low calorie and high in fiber.
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrot Nutritious and colorful.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. In a bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over the chicken.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned chicken on a baking sheet and bake for about 30–35 minutes. Brush with BBQ sauce and honey during the last 10 minutes.
Preparing the Fries
  1. While the chicken is baking, cut the potatoes into fries. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, paprika, and a pinch of salt. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for about 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
Making the Slaw
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrot. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar (or lemon juice), and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss well.
Serving
  1. Serve the sticky BBQ chicken with crispy fries and fresh slaw.
