Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Season as desired.
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese Choose cheese based on preference.
  • Salt To taste.
  • Pepper To taste.
  • Garlic powder To season.
Optional Toppings
  • pickles For a crunchy bite.
  • diced onions For added flavor.
  • burger sauce For drizzling over.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  3. Press a small handful of ground beef directly onto one half of each tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle each half with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cooking
  1. Place the tortillas in the hot skillet with the beef side down. Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, or until the beef is browned.
  2. Carefully flip each tortilla over and sprinkle cheese on the beef.
  3. Fold each tortilla in half to cover the beef and cheese.
  4. Grill both sides of the folded quesadilla for a few minutes until they are crispy and the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from skillet and slice each quesadilla into wedges. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To freeze, separate each quesadilla with parchment paper and keep in a freezer bag for up to a month.
