Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter and pour it into the baking dish, spreading it evenly to coat the bottom.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the melted butter.
  4. Cut the loaf of bread into thick slices or cubes.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  6. Arrange the sliced bread in the baking dish and pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread.
Baking
  1. Place the dish in the oven and bake for approximately 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Allow the dish to cool before serving. Dust with powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Notes
