Ingredients
  

Popsicle Mixture
  • 2 cups Root Beer Adds fizzy sweetness; can use sugar-free version.
  • 1 cup Vanilla Ice Cream Use low-calorie or high-protein for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream (Optional) Light or sugar-free whipped cream can be used.
Equipment Needed
  • Popsicle Molds For creating the popsicle shape.
  • Mixing Bowl For combining ingredients.
  • Spoon or Whisk For mixing ingredients smoothly.

Method
 

Mixing
  1. In a bowl, combine the 2 cups of root beer and the 1 cup of vanilla ice cream. Stir gently until the ice cream is well incorporated into the root beer.
Filling Molds
  1. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, filling each mold about three-quarters full.
  2. Leave a little space at the top for the mixture to expand as it freezes.
Freezing
  1. Insert sticks into the molds and place them into the freezer.
  2. Allow the popsicles to freeze for at least 4 hours or until they are completely solid.
Serving
  1. To serve, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to loosen the popsicles.

Notes

These popsicles can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Experiment with different flavors of soda for variety. Use low-calorie ice cream for a healthy treat.
