Ingredients
  

For the salsa
  • 1 cup diced strawberries
  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 whole jalapeño, seeded and minced For a milder salsa, jalapeño can be omitted.
  • 1 whole Juice of lime
  • to taste Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced strawberries, diced pineapple, finely chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, minced jalapeño, and lime juice.
  2. Stir gently until well mixed.
  3. Season with salt to taste.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

This salsa can be served chilled over grilled fish, shrimp, or chicken, as a topping for tacos or salads. It keeps in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
