Ingredients
  

For the Pie
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • whipped cream for topping optional
  • extra crushed peppermint candies for garnish optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Stir in the crushed peppermint candies.
  6. Pour the filling into the pre-made graham cracker crust and smooth the top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Serving
  1. Slice the pie into pieces and place on dessert plates.
  2. Add a dollop of whipped cream on top and sprinkle with extra crushed peppermint candies, if desired.

Notes

Store the pie in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap or aluminum foil for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap tightly and store for up to a month. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
