  • 1 sheet Orange construction paper or scrapbook paper Choose patterns for added texture.
  • 1 piece Pencil For tracing the circles.
  • 1 pair Scissors Sharp pair ensures clean cuts.
  • 1 stick Glue stick To secure layers together.
  • 1 object Something round to trace (e.g., cup) Helps create perfect circle shapes.

Method
 

Creating the Pumpkin
  1. Step 1: Using a cup, trace 8 circles on orange construction paper.
  2. Step 2: Fold all circles in half with the white side out if using scrapbook paper.
  3. Step 3: Apply glue to the top side of one folded circle and stack a second folded circle on top, repeating until all circles are glued.
  4. Step 4: Trim the top and bottom of the glued circles to shape your pumpkin.
  5. Step 5: Unfold the pumpkin and add a stem or vine using green construction paper before gluing final segments.

Notes

Choose vibrant colors for a stand-out design. Handle scissors safely, especially with kids around. If preserving your pumpkins, use a sealant spray once finished.
