Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 roll Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough (sugar cookie, gingerbread, or your favorite flavor)
  • as needed Flour (for dusting)
  • 1 each Egg (if needed for the recipe)
  • as desired Sprinkles or chocolate chips (optional)
  • as desired Icing (optional for decoration)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  3. Take the roll of Pillsbury cookie dough out of the fridge. If it's too hard, let it sit for a few minutes to soften.
  4. Dust your counter with flour and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Cut out fun shapes using cookie cutters and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips or colorful sprinkles on top of the cookies.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
  3. Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  4. Once cool, you can decorate with icing if desired.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature.
