Ingredients
  

Meat and Sauce
  • 1 lb Ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 cup Beef broth Use vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
  • 2 tbsp A-1 sauce Can substitute with Worcestershire sauce or a soy sauce/ketchup mixture.
  • 1 tbsp Steak seasoning
Vegetables
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 medium Green pepper, chopped Other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach can be added.
Buns and Cheese
  • 4 pieces White or whole wheat buns Fresh buns are recommended.
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese Substitutes like American cheese or cheddar can be used.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and green pepper, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, A-1 sauce, and steak seasoning, allowing it to simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Toast the buns in a separate skillet or oven.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture onto the toasted buns and top with sliced provolone cheese.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

Great for casual meals and perfect for parties. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months.
