  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Toppings of your choice (fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, etc.)

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches soft-serve consistency.
  3. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2-4 hours to firm up.
  4. Serve the ice cream in bowls or cones, and top with your choice of toppings.

Notes

Store your ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer. Press plastic wrap on the surface before sealing to reduce ice crystals. Best consumed within 2 weeks, but safe for up to a month. For portion control, serve 1/2 cup scoops.
