  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the pasta to the pot along with the milk and bring to a simmer.
  3. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Be gentle with the heat so the milk does not boil hard. If the sauce seems thin, lower the heat and let it cook while stirring. Add more milk or butter for creaminess.
