One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

Ingredients
  

Pasta and Dairy
  • 8 oz Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 2 cups Milk Use any type of milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Can substitute with other cheeses if desired
  • 4 tbsp Butter
Flavorings
  • 4 cloves Fresh garlic, minced Can substitute with garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the pasta and enough water to cover it; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer until the pasta is cooked al dente.
  4. Stir in the milk and Parmesan cheese, mixing until creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. Can freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat with a splash of milk to revive the creamy sauce.
