Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix until the peaches are evenly coated.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the milk, melted butter, self-rising flour, sugar, and water until smooth.
  5. Pour this batter evenly over the peaches in the baking dish without stirring.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  2. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
