Preparation
- In a blender, combine 2 cups of vanilla ice cream, 1 cup of milk, and 1 cup of cherry juice until smooth.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of chopped cherries carefully, ensuring they remain chunky.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving space at the top for expansion.
- Insert popsicle sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
- To release, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to loosen the creamsicles.
Notes
These creamsicles can be made ahead for a fun snack. Store in a sealed container in the freezer for several weeks. For variations, try using other fruit juices or add a touch of vanilla extract.
