Method
Preparation of Crust
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture into the bottom of the springform pan to form a solid base.
Making the Cheesecake Filling
- In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract using your electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Once the cream cheese mixture is ready, divide it evenly into three bowls.
- In the first bowl, gently fold in the strawberry puree. In the second bowl, fold in the melted chocolate for a rich layer. Leave the third bowl plain.
Assembly
- Pour the plain cream cheese mixture over the crust first. Then, layer the chocolate mixture followed by the strawberry mixture. Smooth the top using a spatula for an even appearance.
Chill
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
Serving
- Once set, carefully slice and serve your Neapolitan Cheesecake. Enjoy the beautiful layers and delightful flavors!
Notes
For healthier alternatives, consider using low-fat cream cheese and a sugar substitute. The cheesecake is great for meal prep and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days. It can also be frozen for longer storage.
