Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, softened butter, powdered sugar, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and cut it into flower shapes using a flower-shaped cookie cutter.
- Place half of the flower cutouts on a baking sheet.
- Add a small dollop of fruit jam to the center of each flower.
- Top with the remaining flower cutouts and press the edges to seal.
- Brush the top with egg wash.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool and decorate with edible flowers if desired.
