Ingredients
  

For the Chicken and Pasta
  • 2 large Chicken Breasts, boneless, skinless, sliced thinly
  • 8 oz Pasta, such as penne, rigatoni, or fettuccine
  • To taste Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil, for searing
For the Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (optional for spice)
For Garnish
  • Fresh Basil

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Start by boiling a large pot of salted water.
  2. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
Preparing the Chicken
  1. Season the sliced chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, and stir to combine.
  4. Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
  5. Stir the sauce until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to coat it in the creamy sauce.
  2. Finally, add the drained pasta and toss everything together until well mixed.
Serving
  1. Serve the Marry Me Chicken Pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil and more Parmesan cheese if desired.
