Ingredients for the Mocktail
  • 0.5 cup Mango (fresh or frozen) Fresh or frozen mango can be used for the puree.
  • 2 tablespoons Water Water is used to blend with mango.
  • 1 unit Lime (quartered) Use fresh lime for best flavor.
  • 6 leaves Mint leaves Fresh mint leaves are recommended.
  • 1 cup Soda water or alternative Soda water adds fizz to the mocktail.
  • to taste unit Extra mint and lime for garnish For garnish and decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by muddling lime pieces in your glass or pitcher to release the juices. If you don't have a muddler, you can use the handle end of a wooden spoon.
  2. Clap the mint leaves together in your hands to release their scent and oils. Add these mint leaves to the muddled lime and gently press with your muddler.
  3. In a small blender, blend the mango with the 2 tablespoons of water until smooth.
  4. Pour the mango puree into the glass with the lime and mint mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Fill your glass with ice, and top it off with soda water. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Garnish the Mango Mojito Mocktail with extra mint leaves and a lime wheel before serving.

Notes

This mocktail is best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. For freezing, pour into ice cube trays to create mango mojito cubes.
