Baking and Topping
- Preheat the oven according to the tater tots package instructions.
- Bake the tater tots until crispy and golden brown.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheese and bacon bits over the tater tots.
- Return to the oven for an additional few minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and top with sour cream and chopped green onions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftover loaded tater tots in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness. For freezing, it's best to freeze plain tater tots before adding toppings.
