Brewing the Tea
- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Add the lemon balm leaves and sliced ginger to the boiling water.
- Remove from heat and let it steep for 10-15 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the leaves and ginger.
- Add the lemon slices and sweetener to taste.
- Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and enjoy!
Notes
Store the iced tea in a sealed pitcher or jar in the fridge. It stays fresh for 4–5 days if kept cold. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays.
