  • 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves Rinse and loosely pack the leaves
  • 4 cups water For brewing
  • 1-2 inches fresh ginger, sliced Adjust according to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced For flavoring and garnish
  • to taste Honey or sweetener Use sugar-free for a low-calorie option
  • as needed Ice cubes For serving

Method
 

Brewing the Tea
  1. Boil the water in a saucepan.
  2. Add the lemon balm leaves and sliced ginger to the boiling water.
  3. Remove from heat and let it steep for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the leaves and ginger.
  5. Add the lemon slices and sweetener to taste.
  6. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Notes

Store the iced tea in a sealed pitcher or jar in the fridge. It stays fresh for 4–5 days if kept cold. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays.
