  • 2 teaspoons dried lavender You can use fresh lavender; just double the amount.
  • 2 teaspoons sweetener (such as Stevia or monk fruit) Use erythritol for a sugar-free version.
  • 250 ml boiling water
For Serving
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • ice for serving Add extra ice for serving.
  • fresh lavender for garnish Optional.

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the dried lavender, sweetener, and boiling water in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to very low, so the water is just steaming. Leave for about 7-8 minutes until the color has faded from the lavender. Strain the mixture and allow it to cool.
  3. In a glass, add 2 tablespoons of the lavender syrup and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
  4. Top with sparkling water and add ice.
  5. Garnish with fresh lavender, if desired.

Notes

Store lavender lemonade in the refrigerator for up to one week in an airtight container. This drink isn't ideal for freezing due to its water and carbonation content.
