Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, cream the unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Grind the lavender and the contents of the Earl Grey tea bags into a fine powder, then add to the butter mixture along with the egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix well to combine all ingredients.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, combining until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just golden.
- Let cookies cool completely on a wire rack for the best texture.
Notes
These cookies can be frozen for longer storage. They stay fresh for 3–5 days at room temperature or up to 2 months frozen.
