Ingredients
  

Smoothie Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh kale, stems removed Make sure to wash thoroughly.
  • 1 ripe banana ripe banana Peel before adding to the blender.
  • 1/2 cup almond milk Can substitute with any milk of choice.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Optional for added protein.
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
  • as needed pieces Ice cubes Add to taste for desired thickness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the kale thoroughly to remove any dirt and remove the stems.
  2. Peel the banana.
Blending
  1. Place the kale in your blender and add the almond milk. Blend on high until the kale is completely broken down, about 30 seconds.
  2. Add the banana, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and ice cubes. Blend again until everything is combined and creamy.
Serving
  1. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or thickness as desired.
  2. Pour the kale smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a stylish presentation, serve in a mason jar. You can prepare ingredients in advance and store them in a zip-top bag in the freezer to save time.
