  • 4 pieces hot dog buns
Decorative Ingredients
  • 4 pieces maraschino cherries with stems for hats
  • 8 pieces candy googly eyes or white chocolate + dark chocolate dots
  • 3 tablespoons yellow mustard for smile & cross pattern
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup for lips & hat base
  • 1 tablespoon butter for toasting buns

Method
 

Cooking Sausages
  1. Boil or grill 8 hot dog sausages until fully cooked for safety and flavor.
Preparing Legs
  1. Cut 4 sausages in half lengthwise, then pan-fry for 2 minutes until crispy.
Toasting Buns
  1. Butter and toast 4 hot dog buns on medium heat until golden brown.
Assembling
  1. Place one whole sausage in each bun, positioning a leg sausage underneath.
Adding Facial Features
  1. Attach candy eyes and pipe mustard and ketchup for facial features.
Final Touch
