Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sliced strawberries with sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  3. Cook over medium heat until it thickens and bubbles, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust and spread evenly.
Baking
