Frozen Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups frozen strawberries Use fresh frozen strawberries for best texture.
  • 1 large frozen banana, sliced Slice banana before freezing for easier blending.
  • 0.25 cup frozen riced cauliflower Adds fiber and volume without extra sugar.
Base Ingredients
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened almond milk Keep calories low by using unsweetened.
  • 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt For protein boost; can be substituted with non-fat version.

Method
 

Blending
  1. Place the frozen strawberries and sliced frozen banana into the blender jar.
  2. Pour in the frozen riced cauliflower on top of the fruit.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt and almond milk, keeping additional liquid to a minimum.
  4. Use the pulse setting for 5-7 times until the fruit looks like coarse sand.
  5. Scrape down the dry bits using a spatula and blend on low speed for 15 seconds.
  6. Increase the blender speed to medium-high and blend for 20-30 seconds until a vortex forms.
  7. Look for a glossy sheen and thick consistency, then scoop the mixture into a chilled bowl.

Notes

Serve chilled and fresh, keeping portion control in mind. For added toppings, consider berries, nuts, or shredded coconut. The smoothie bowl is best eaten immediately for optimal texture but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
