Main Ingredients
  • 1 package crescent roll dough 8 ounce package
  • 8 slices ham Any deli-style ham
  • 8 slices cheese (Swiss or cheddar) Use your favorite cheese
  • 1 each egg For egg wash
  • to taste sesame seeds Optional topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle.
  4. Roll the triangles up starting from the wide end to the point.
Baking
  1. Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over each croissant.
  3. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm.

Notes

These croissants are best served warm. Great as a snack or light meal. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge.
