Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the 1 cup of unsalted butter using a microwave or stovetop, ensuring it doesn't boil.
  3. Stir in the 2 cups of granulated sugar, then add the 4 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients
  1. In a separate bowl, combine the 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
  2. Gradually add the dry mix to the wet mixture until just blended.
Add Oreos and Bake
  1. Fold in half of the Halloween Oreos, broken into pieces.
  2. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Top with the remaining Halloween Oreos for decoration.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and Serve
  1. Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider substituting half of the flour with whole wheat flour. These brownies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
