Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the 1 cup of unsalted butter using a microwave or stovetop, ensuring it doesn't boil.
- Stir in the 2 cups of granulated sugar, then add the 4 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, combine the 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry mix to the wet mixture until just blended.
Add Oreos and Bake
- Fold in half of the Halloween Oreos, broken into pieces.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Top with the remaining Halloween Oreos for decoration.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For a healthier version, consider substituting half of the flour with whole wheat flour. These brownies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
