Preparation
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the salmon fillets with the mixture and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- Toss the asparagus in the remaining marinade.
Cooking
- Place the salmon fillets on the grill skin side down.
- Add the asparagus to the grill next to the salmon.
- Cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until salmon is cooked through and asparagus is tender.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 2 minutes.
- Plate the salmon and asparagus, drizzling any leftover marinade over the top.
