Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 6 pieces Chicken Drumsticks High protein source.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Heart-healthy fat.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning.
For the Fries
  • 4 large Potatoes Cut into fries.
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil For crispiness.
For the Salad
  • 2 cups Mixed Lettuce
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 1 small Red Onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture onto the chicken drumsticks thoroughly.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 40–45 minutes until juicy and crispy.
  2. While the chicken is baking, cut the potatoes into fries and toss with vegetable oil and salt.
  3. After the chicken has been in the oven for about 20 minutes, add the potatoes to the baking sheet.
Preparing the Salad
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and parsley. Drizzle with lemon juice and toss to combine.
Serving
  1. Once the chicken and fries are done, arrange them on a plate with the salad alongside.

Notes

For a hands-off cooking approach, consider using an air fryer for the chicken drumsticks. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
