  • 10 leaves mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener of choice Use a low-calorie sweetener for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 1 ounce non-alcoholic rum (optional) For extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the lime and sweetener into your glass. Muddle for about 1 minute to release the juice from the lime.
  2. Clap the mint in your hands a few times to release the scent. Place it in the glass and press gently with the muddler 2-3 times.
  3. Add non-alcoholic rum if using.
  4. Top with sparkling water and ice. Stir.
  5. Garnish with slices of lime or extra mint and serve.

Notes

Serve cold in a tall glass filled with ice. For a party, make a pitcher and serve in small glasses to keep portion sizes low.
