Preparation
- Prepare your square 8×8 or 9×9 inch pan with cooking spray and parchment paper.
- Organize your ingredients and measure any additions for quick access.
Cooking
- In a saucepan over low heat, warm the condensed milk until hot but not boiling.
- Add chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and red food coloring.
- Stir frequently until melted, smooth, and combined. If necessary, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of butter or shortening to assist in melting.
- Stir in the flour until blended.
- Once flour is incorporated, add any desired toppings to the fudge mixture while it's still hot.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared square pan and add any additional toppings on top.
Setting
- Let the fudge set aside at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
Notes
Store the fudge in an airtight container. It can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks or frozen for up to 3 months. For serving, cut into squares and enjoy with beverages like coffee or hot cocoa.
