  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix-ins

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. If desired, add colored sprinkles or candies on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Allow to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
