  • 8 oz Macaroni
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Broccoli, chopped Fresh or thawed frozen
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups Crushed pineapple Drained
  • 2 tbsp Sugar Can be reduced or omitted for less sweetness
  • 1 cup Crushed cornflakes For topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, and shredded cheese until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 13x9 casserole dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine crushed pineapple, sugar, and a little flour, then layer it over the macaroni mixture.
  6. Top with crushed cornflakes for added crunch.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbling and golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 325°F for 10-15 minutes or in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.
