Preparation
- Place the chicken in the crockpot.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and add sesame oil, if using.
- Add the chopped vegetables on top.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the sauce and vegetables.
Serving
- Serve over rice or noodles, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
For meal prep, store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Add a splash of water or more sauce when reheating to keep it moist. Freeze for up to 3 months.
