Preparation
- Place the chicken thighs or breasts at the bottom of the crockpot, spread out evenly.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken, and add the minced garlic.
- If using, add broccoli and bell peppers.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
Serving
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks, and stir to combine with the sauce and veggies.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles, garnishing with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Can also be frozen for about 3 months.
