Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 225 g plain flour
  • 150 g butter Use light or plant-based butter for a healthier version.
  • 75 g icing sugar Cut sugar by one third for a lighter option.
  • 10 units Smarties One for each cookie center.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Place all ingredients in a bowl and rub the butter into the dry ingredients to form a dough.
  3. Once combined, roll 5 small portions into balls.
  4. Line a tray with baking paper and place the 5 balls in a circle to form a flower shape.
  5. Gently push down with your finger to create the petal shape.
  6. Place a Smartie in the center and place daisy cookies in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Place daisy cookies in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Store baked cookies in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Freeze them for longer storage, up to 3 months.
