  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced Adjust quantity according to taste.
Dressing Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin olive oil enhances the flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar You can substitute with apple cider vinegar if preferred.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Use freshly ground pepper for best flavor.
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish Chopped or whole leaves can be used for garnish.

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced cucumber, mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, and sliced red onion.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Best served fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days. Avoid freezing.
