Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Once done, shred the chicken in the crockpot and mix it with the sauce.
Serving
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days. To freeze, cool the chicken fully and place it in a freezer-safe container or bag. Freeze for up to 3 months.
