  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Use boneless, skinless for best results
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 cups cooked rice or noodles For serving
  • Chopped green onions For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Once done, shred the chicken in the crockpot and mix it with the sauce.
Serving
  1. Serve over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days. To freeze, cool the chicken fully and place it in a freezer-safe container or bag. Freeze for up to 3 months.
