  • 1 packet gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, arranging them evenly at the bottom.
  2. In a bowl, mix the gravy mix with the chicken broth and stir well until there are no lumps; pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Add the chopped onion, followed by salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  2. Once done, shred the chicken in the gravy and stir to combine.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw and reheat before serving.
