- In a bowl, mix the gravy mix with the chicken broth and stir well until there are no lumps; pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Add the chopped onion, followed by salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Once done, shred the chicken in the gravy and stir to combine.
Serving
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
